Koshiji Showa HQ1127

Description

Imported Japanese Koi

Koshiji nisai Showa, 50cm male with his breeder certificate, from this fall’s ikeage. The head Hi is broad, with sumi coming through on the head and down the left cheek. Hi steps back over the shoulder and mid-body with good white between plates, then the sumi gathers into a strong Showa band across the back at the dorsal, wrapping down both sides. The Hi is thick and bright, and the sumi on the back is already deep. Pectorals are mostly white with light sumi streaks rather than motoguro, a modern look with plenty of white. A big male with presence.
