Description

Imported Japanese Koi

Yamamatsu nisai Sanke, 50cm male, out of this fall’s ikeage. A broad head Hi covers the top of the head and flows straight back into the right shoulder plate. Sumi starts at the shoulder, some over the Hi and some on white, then the pattern alternates Hi and sumi down the back, with sumi finishing the tail section. The Hi is thick and bright, and there’s a tejima stripe in the right pectoral. This is a bold, Hi-heavy Sanke with a lot going on. He has good length and a solid frame to build on.
